Spreepicky Purple Seifuku Review!

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to be doing a (super super super late) review of this seifuku from Spreepicky! Before we begin, I'd like to say that I am not sponsored or affiliate with Spreepicky, and all opinions are my own. Now let''s start~

I received this outfit aboooout 6 months ago maybe? So I'm sorry to say I can't share pictures of the packaging or tell you how long it took to arrive. However, I can say that shipping was about average for being sent from Asia and aligned with their shipping estimates on the site. (Which I will link
again here) The packaging was fine and even included a handwritten note!
Now onto the actual item! I received the seifuku in purple, and it looks exactly like the stock photo. I ordered a medium. The measurements are:
shoulder length: 33-38cm/12.99-14.96"
bust: 85-94cm/33.46-37.01"
waist of the top: 78-84cm/30.71-33.07"
top length:47-49cm/18.5-19.29"
waist of the skirt: 71cm/27.95"
skirt length: 33.5-36cm/13.19-14.17"
(For reference, I am 5'2 and wear a 32C size bra)
Here's photos of the front and back of the skirt:

The material is strong and study, holding the pleats very well! The zipper is also very well made and
I have 0 fear of it breaking. (Side note: Sorry about the dents on the waist band, they're from my hanger) I was surprised to find how low I could rest it on my hips, as I expected I'd probably end up looking like Stever Urkel, that is, if Steve Urkel wore purple seifukus... But! It''s great and the length is perfect! I know at lots of schools the rule for skirt/short length is that it has to reach your fingertips, and for me this does!

Next is the shirt!

The material is very stretchy, but it didn't need to stretch over me very much at all! I was initially worried that the fabric would cause it to be tight and uncomfortable around my stomach, but it was just the right balance of tight and loose. The fabric is very sheer and thin, so I would recommend wearing a nude colored bra. The sleeves also fit very nicely. The length is also wonderful, as it's long enough to cover the top of the skirt but doesn't bunch up. However, on a taller person, this would probably be more of a crop top so keep that in mind if you don't like showing tummy!

Full body pics! As you can see, my bra shows a bit in the front, but it should be fine! The back piece also doesn't like to lay flat, but I believe it can be fixed with a little ironing. Below are some detail shots so you can get an idea of the fabric and quality of this piece!

As you can see, the fabric is excellent quality, so you won't have to worry about any rips, tears, or loose threads.
Overall Ratings
   Quality:
I think the quality is great and it definitely won't have any damage done to it, but I docked one adorable kitty face because there were lots of loose threads on the inside of the skirt, and I think the ribbon detailing could be better quality

Comfort:
This piece is wonderfully comfy! I'm so so so happy with the sizing of the top, especially because it doesn't uncomfortable stretch over my chest or stomach!

Price:
This outfit cost $20, which I think is a great price for what you receive. Although the materials aren't star quality, they're still very comfortable, sturdy, and appear nicely on camera. I've always had a slight disliking of spreepicky, because I thought they were extremely overpriced/out of my price range, but now I see that's most likely because they use amazing materials!

Even though I've had this item stored away for a while, I am quite fond of it, especially how cute it looks in selfies! (Did you think I'd go an entire review with no selfies? As if!)
happy seifuku selfie time!

See? Isn't it totally adorable?? Anyways, thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed the first of reviews to come from pastelior! Also, sorry for any formatting issues you may see, blogger takes a while to get used to -.-

NOTES
1. I have not shopped at all of these stores, I wish I could afford that! Please shop at your own risk and do your research. Typically, stores that have had more than 100 sales are safest if they're clothing stores. If you're unsure, here is a guide on spotting scam shops and make sure to google for reviews!
2. If you google many of these stores- you can find discount codes (or use mine that I put in parentheses
3. Please please PLEASE if you purchase from any of these stores, find the custom store link (located at the top of the page under store description, reads "Visit Custom Store" ) If you purchase via the storenvy link, 10% of your purchase will be taken by storenvy from the store! In some cases, the store will even cancel your order if you don't order via their custom domain, so this is super duper important!
4. If any of the links don't work/are broken, message me at pastelior.tumblr.com so I can fix it!
Also, if you'd like me to make any other masterposts for specific styles (lolita, gyaru, fairy kei, ect) for stores not on storenvy, message me there as well!

Thank you all for reading! Have a lovely day! ♥♥♥

1/1/2015: New Blog New Year!

Hello everyone! (or more likely, no one yet) I decided to kick of the new year by doing something I've been wanting to do for a long time- make a blogspot! Not only will it help by giving me a place to post reviews, but it will also help me to educate others on thinks like where to shop for what styles, what brands of makeup are good for what, how to style hair/wigs, and many other things that I feel would take up too much room on my pastel tumblr blog, which I will link here. After only recently starting that blog, my love of cute things has only intensified, so I hope to be posting here tons!To start us off, here are some upcoming things I'll be posting on this blog: Purple Seifuku Review from Spreepicky, Pastel/Himikaji/Lolita Shopping Masterpost!

Love, Ash ♥♥♥
